L-G rejects Lokayukta demand against Sheila

The Delhi Lieutenant-Governor has rejected the demand made by Lokayukta Manmohan Sarin in his Special Report submitted in March this year that urged him to request the President to reconsider the decision of absolving Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit of the charge of falsely misrepresenting to the public on the eve of the 2008 Delhi Assembly elections that 60,000 houses under the Rajiv Ratan Awas Yojna were ready and the process of allotment was to be begun.
