Modi asks PM to stop bid to hand over Sir Creek to Pakistan

Just a day before the first phase of polling in 87 constituencies of Gujarat, Chief Minister Narendra Modi has urged the Prime Minister to stop any attempt to hand over the Sir Creek to Pakistan. The Sir Creek in extreme western tip of Kutch district is a muddy patch of water and land whose jurisdiction is the subject of Indo-Pak dialogue since the 1965 war.
