Post-poll, Modi may end BJP misery

Fortunate not to be blessed with a "born leader", the BJP has to necessarily wait for a propitious confluence of time and circumstances to throw up an authentic leader. After an age-related illness forced the retirement of Atal Behari Vajpayee, and advancing years scuppered L.K. Advani's prime ministerial ambitions, the second largest national party has been bereft of a national leader.
