RS passes anti-terror Bill amid protest by Left, SP

Amidst a walkout by Left parties, Samajwadi Party, JD(U) and RJD, Parliament on Thursday approved the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Amendment Bill as both the ruling Congress and Opposition BJP joined hand to make offences that threaten India’s economic security, including circulation of counterfeit currency, a terrorist act.
