In his bid to douse the unrelenting public anger over the Delhi gang-rape, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Monday appeared on several TV channels to put across the ruling dispensation’s point of view but only ended up creating more flutters. Defending the Government, facing widespread criticism for not reaching out to the protesters, Shinde questioned the need for the Government to go anywhere and in fact, maintained that the Government should not go everywhere.
