Emergency revisited!
Journalist organisations on Monday expressed outrage over the unprovoked and totally uncalled for attack by the Delhi Police on mediapersons covering anti-rape protests in the Capital. They demanded a public apology from Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde besides action against police officials concerned. Members of the Press Club of India, Press Association, Indian Women Press Corps, Delhi Union of Journalists and National Union of Journalists together held a protest demonstration outside Press Council Of India (PCI) and marched towards Rashtrapati Bhavan, but were stopped near Rail Bhawan by the police. They condemned the police attack on mediapersons and shouted slogans Delhi Police hai hai, Home Minister Jawab do.
