'It's the politicos who have failed us'

Delhi Police has faced a lot of flak from the common man and political leaders in the past eight days. Initially over the gangrape and torture of the 23 year old paramedic and later over the handling of protests that followed the heinous incident. But the interesting thing is that while all through the protests the political leadership did not communicate with or direct the police, most of them went on air criticising the inept law enforcement agency.
