BJP grills ‘secularists' for silence on Owaisi's slur

MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, brother of MIM chief and Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi, is in trouble for making an alleged provocative speech and hurting religious sentiments. While the Hyderabad court has reserved its orders till Thursday on a petition filed by a city-based lawyer seeking action Akbaruddin, the BJP has demanded tough action against him and questioned the silence of “secularists” on the issue.
