CBI: UPA cannot hide the truth all the time

Some weeks ago, the former Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation, Mr US Misra, admitted that he faced political pressure while dealing with the disproportionate assets case of Ms Mayawati, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He thus turned the spotlight on the worst kept secret in Delhi — that the Government often misuses the CBI to harass political opponents or to win over political leaders when it is short of numbers in Parliament.
