Hindu terror? No such group in Govt’s list of 34 banned

Contrary to Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s outlandish claim on Hindu terror, not a single outfit related to the majority community was banned under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, 1967. Home Ministry’s data showed that 13 Islamic outfits figure in total of 34 such entities banned under UAPA. This list of proscribed groups is placed on the Union Home Ministry’s official website.
