Islamists face the heat

As Malian troops assisted by their French counterparts now advance into the Islamist rebel-stronghold in the northern part of their country after securing the south, it is clear that the international community has a lesson to learn from the French intervention. And the lesson is that assertive action must be taken, even if military, when the situation demands.
