Modi meets Rajnath, says ready for role outside Gujarat

Narendra Modi told BJP chief Rajnath Singh on Sunday that he was ready to discharge any responsibility assigned to him, reinforcing the estimate that the Gujarat chief minister is going to play a "key role" in charting the BJP's campaign strategy in the run-up to the 2014 elections. The saffron party will look to wrest power from the Congress-led UPA after two terms in opposition.
