Call him anything; he remains accountable

Some critics have slammed Shubhranshu Choudhary for betraying the cause of the Maoists who gave him access to their network, in his book, Let’s Call Him Vasu: With the Maoists in Chhattisgarh. They have also raised questions on the manner in which he has dealt with the Binayak Sen issue. The criticism is based on the presumption that, because the Maoists had opened up to the writer, he was ethically bound to present them in good light and in the process paint official authorities as the villain.
