Leave Tendulkar poverty line alone

In March 2012, when the Planning Commission released the poverty estimates for 2009-10 and the estimates showed accelerating decline in poverty, critics accused it of having quietly dropped down the poverty line to make its exaggerated claims. This was, of course, an outright false accusation, grounded in the belief that growth could do nothing good for the poor.
