Afzal Guru: Better late than never

More than 11 years after he orchestrated a horrendous attack on Parliament, Afzal Guru finally received his just deserts this past Saturday when he was hanged by the neck till death in Delhi's Tihar Jail. Convicted of conspiracy, murder and waging war against the country, the Kashmiri militant's hanging comes in the wake of mounting pressure from the public and the Opposition parties that his case must be quickly brought to its logical end.
