Another twist in 2G tale

The expose of taped conversations supposedly between the CBI's chief prosecutor on the 2G Spectrum case and one of the high-profile accused in that mega corruption scandal has only served to further muddy the waters. Revealed by a television news channel on Monday, the audio recordings purportedly show public prosecutor AK Singh discussing the specifics of the 2G Spectrum case with Mr Sanjay Chandra, managing director of Unitech which is one of the telecommunication companies that benefited from the Union Government's unfair allocation of 2G Spectrum licences five years ago.
