Denial and obfuscation

Caught in the whirlwind of illegal payoffs done in the AgustaWestland deal, the Congress-led UPA Government has resorted to a trick which it has employed in recent times in the various other massive scandals that it has been hit with: Blame the BJP-led NDA regime which quit office in 2004. It did that on the scams involving the 2G Spectrum licence and the coal block allocation, claiming that it had merely followed procedures that had been established by the NDA Government.
