AgustaWestland scam is tip of the iceberg

Where there is a deal involving a huge sum of money, there is always wheeling in dealing — just like where there is honey, the bees are bound to gather around. Honey here is a certain percentage of money that is built into any deal so as to bribe the powers that be. This is true for any deal, be it in railways or civil aviation or telecommunication. Most recently, in such a deal worth `3,546 crore and involving the purchase of helicopters for VVIPs, the name of a former Air Force chief has been mentioned.
