Passage to India: Cameron has made all the right noises

Underscoring India’s importance in Britain’s evolving foreign policy priorities, British Prime Minister David Cameron was in India this week for a second time since assuming office in 2010. Though his visit to Jallianwala Bagh has evoked mixed reactions in India, he became the first serving British Prime Minister to pay his respects at the site, describing the massacre as “a deeply shameful event in British history”.
