Guru’s letter shows no remorse for Parliament attack

Mohammad Afzal Guru, who was hanged for his role in the December 13, 2001 Parliament attack, was not remorseful for the terror attack. He had described it as part of “resistance in Kashmir” and resented efforts to link it to conspiracies. The revelations, which can change discourse on Afzal Guru hanging, are in a handwritten letter addressed to Shabnam Qayoom, a prominent historian and editor of a bi-lingual weekly Qaumi Waqar.
