Begin dialogue with Modi, he may be next PM: US lawmaker

US Congressman Eni Faleomavaega has counselled the Obama Administration to begin a dialogue with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he “may well be the next Prime Minister of India”. A Democratic delegate from American Samoa, Faleomavaega, known to be a friend of India for long, made the observation during a Congressional hearing on Monday at which Assistant Secretary of State Robert Blake testified on US relations with South Asian countries, primarily India.
