A lame duck Joint Parliamentary Committee will probe the AgustaWestland chopper scam. After a heated debate in the Rajya Sabha, when the Government moved the motion for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe, BJP, JD(U), Akali Dal, Left parties, BJD, TMC and AGP walked out of the House, leaving a big question mark over the legitimacy of the JPC probe. The motion was passed by voice vote.
