Flattered.... only to deceive

Finance Minister P.Chidambaram’s Budget speech went to town on how the UPA government considers all important the interest of the girl child and her right to education. Gender equity, gender discrimination and opportunities for women were terms that frequently occurred in his speech. While describing the concessions under the Rajiv Gandhi Equity Scheme, very consciously and categorically he added, “she can do so….”
