BJP stands up for 'king' Modi

Narendra Modi is used to applause, but at the BJP's national council meeting on Saturday even a standing ovation for the Gujarat chief minister was not enough. "Merely congratulating him is not enough, even a standing ovation is not sufficient… ," BJP president Rajnath Singh said as he garlanded Modi and heaped praise on him at the party's two-day meet in the Capital.
