GoI, Telcos: Work for India's consumers

When elephants fight, the grass gets trampled. When India's telecom giants begin to joust, the consumer is likely to get hurt. It is up to the government and the regulator to ensure this does not happen. Such a caution has become necessary in the context of a battle between incumbent third-generation (3G) telecom operators and licensed providers of wireless broadband services (4G) over the latter being allowed to offer voice calls.
