CAG indicts Haryana Govt. on land allotment

The much awaited report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) tabled on the last day of the Budget session of the Harayana Vidhan Sabha on Monday is a severe indictment of the Bhupinder Singh Hooda Government’s propensity to release land notified for acquisition, in violation of the Land Acquisition Act, adversely affecting the development plans of the Haryana State Urban Development Authority (HUDA).
