Lanka: DMK threatens to quit Cabinet if stand not tough

Unable to get a commitment on taking a sterner stand against Sri Lanka at the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva despite repeated attempts, UPA ally DMK on Friday said the party would quit the Union Cabinet if the Centre did not take the initiative and bring in amendments to the US-backed resolution against the island nation.
