Karnataka to go to polls on May 5; counting on May 8

New Delhi: The southern state of Karnataka will go to polls in a single phase on May 5, the Election Commission announced on Wednesday. Speaking at a press briefing here, Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath said the counting of votes will be taken up on May 8.
