Are the jawans not your people, Omar?

This is how Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah lamented in the State Assembly less than a fortnight ago: “While sitting on this chair of the Chief Minister, I am feeling helpless when my people are being killed. These are my people and I belong to this State. What reply I will give to people?” Omar remained mum for a couple of minutes, clearly overcome by deep emotion.
