Anti-corruption unity fitting rebuff to Congress

The support extended by Anna Hazare to Baba Ramdev’s campaign means doubling the government’s troubles at a time when it looks like a punch-drunk boxer. The Gandhian has already pushed the government on to the back foot by forcing it to agree to set up a joint committee on the Lokpal Bill. Now, it will have to concentrate on framing a credible response to the yoga guru’s demand to bring black money home from foreign banks.
