The political hand
The foreign hand and India have an ancient, historical relationship. From the Arab invasions that started in 636 AD, the Turks in 1000 AD, and later Mahmud of Ghazni—whose heretical, violent sacking of the Somnath Temple set the tone for a process of plunder that was to go on for centuries—the spectre of the foreign hand has haunted India.
