India has watered down draft resolution says Karunanidhi

Even as the Centre scrambled to make amends to mollify long-time ally, the DMK, the regional party squarely blamed the Centre for diluting the US-moved draft resolution against Lanka at the UNHRC. "By welcoming in full Sri Lanka's position before the UNHRC, India has watered down the draft resolution under discussion," charged DMK president M Karunanidhi.
