Won't bring down govt, but no pre-poll tie-ups: Karunanidhi

DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Wednesday ruled out pre-poll alliance with the Congress for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, but hastened to add that the party would do nothing to bring down the UPA government. Speaking to TOI in an exclusive interview a day after withdrawing support to the ruling coalition, Karunanidhi appeared relaxed as he recounted the sequence of events leading up to his decision to snap a nine-year-old alliance.
