Mahesh Jethmalani raps Katju, says Govt. lacks power to pardon Dutt

The Maharashtra Governor lacks power to pardon Sanjay Dutt, said senior lawyer and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Mahesh Jethmalani on Saturday. He criticised Press Council chairman Markandey Katju for his “unseemly haste” in seeking relief for the actor sentenced to five years’ jail for possessing arms during the 1993 Mumbai blasts.
