This deal with italy smells rotten

While the return of the marines has ended the diplomatic standoff between India and Italy, it has left in its wake several issues that the Congress-led UPA Government needs to address. To begin with, how could the Centre assure the Italian Government that the two marines, who are facing trial here for shooting Indian fishermen off the coast of Kerala, will neither be arrested nor be sentenced to death?
