Team BJP is ready for poll battle

It goes without saying that the highlight of the revamped Team BJP, which was announced on Sunday, is the induction of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to the party's Parliamentary Board. Although the move was widely expected, the inclusion is nevertheless a firm indication that Mr Modi will play a crucial role in the forthcoming poll. And, while it may still be early days to predict that he will emerge as the party's prime ministerial candidate, the chances of that have considerably brightened after his elevation to the BJP's highest decision-making body.
