Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party has found itself facing the worst crisis in its 14-year history after a fresh set of problems came to haunt it, exacerbating its discomfiture caused by crass taunts of senior party leader Ajit Pawar. With the public anger against Ajit Pawar, who is the NCP chief's nephew, over his weekend comments showing no signs of abating, the party had more troubles on its plate on Wednesday after two other leaders, Jitendra Awhad and Laxman Mane, got embroiled in controversies.
