Tytler case shows the inequality before law

Wednesday's decision by a Delhi court ordering reopening of a 1984 riots case against senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, in the process refusing to accept a closure report by the CBI giving a clean chit to him, has lifted hopes of relatives of hundreds of Sikhs killed in the riots. What it has also done is reinforce the perception that there are two laws in this country — one for the poor and resource-less, and another for the rich and mighty.
