Centre vetted Coalgate report, CBI to inform Supreme Court

In what could spell fresh political worry for the UPA, CBI director Ranjit Kumar Sinha has refused to file an affidavit in the Supreme Court on April 26 to support government's claim that law minister Ashwini Kumar did not vet the report which the agency submitted to the apex court on the status of its investigation into the Coalgate scam.
