A shameless extravagance

If media reports are accurate, Civil Aviation Secretary K.N. Srivastava is in favour of transferring three freshly-ordered Boeing 777 aircraft from their intended use as commercial passenger liners to service the external travel needs of just three individuals, the President, Vice-President and Prime Minister of India, a country which has more destitutes than the whole of Sub-Saharan Africa.
