BJP plays safe, leaves it on Nitish to take first step

BJP will leave the onus of continuing the Bihar alliance on JD(U). It has decided against pulling the trigger. Party president Rajnath Singh and leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, who met senior party leaders separately, however, told them that the ally will not be allowed to exercise a veto on BJP's political choices.
