DMK demands removal of Chacko as 2G probe panel head

The DMK on Sunday decided to have another pow-wow with the UPA government saying it will approach Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and demand the removal of Congress leader PC Chacko as chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on telecom. The party condemned the JPC draft report on the 2G spectrum allocation controversy and demanded its withdrawal, according to DMK parliamentary party leader T R Baalu, on the eve of the second phase of the budget session.
