UPA's flagship MNREGA sinks

The UPA’s ambitious rural job creation scheme, MNREGA, is floundering badly. This was confirmed by the performance audit report of the CAG, which has not only pointed out dip in rural employment generation in the last two years, but also highlighted several irregularities in the implementation of schemes.
