Today, we witness a drama being played out between law officers. It is unfortunate that an officer of the rank of Additional Solicitor General (ASG) should complain of being made a "scapegoat" in the context of a statement that he himself has made in court. After all, he was present at the meeting with the law minister, and was party to the sharing of his client CBI's affidavit with the political executive.
