All downhill for Cong in Uttarakhand

With all eyes on Karnataka, a crucial poll result in Uttarakhand has quietly gone under the radar. Thirteen months after it came to power in the state, the Congress this week lost control of all its six municipal corporations. It also lost from the Gairsain nagar panchayat, selected as the site for a new Assembly building with great expectations by Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna.
