Manmohan Singh should now start work on 'secure' borders

Now that the band, baaja, baarat of Pakistan's elections has died down, let us give poor old Nawaz Sharif time to settle down. Let us give ourselves a breather as well — the excitement on this side of the border on Monday was enough to believe that Sharif was the answer to all our problems.
