BJP opposes Cyriac Joseph's appointment to NHRC

Leaders of opposition in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley on Thursday submitted dissenting notes over the government's decision to appoint retired Supreme Court judge Cyriac Joseph as a member of the National Human Rights Commission.
