Nawaz Sharif should not hold back on boosting India-Pakistan ties

In what appears to be a move to squelch soaring hopes of India-Pakistan amity following Nawaz Sharif's decisive election triumph, Pakistan's army chief Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has urged the PM-designate to adopt a cautious approach towards ties with India. Sharif had buoyed expectations in both countries by pitching for strengthening the bilateral relationship, in the run-up to the elections.
