Dhoni is gagged as cricket’s politicians close ranks

All attempts by reporters to get Mahendra Singh Dhoni to say something, anything about the ongoing spot-fixing and betting scandal at a press conference in Mumbai on Tuesday were met by smiles and silence, with a minder from the Board of Control for Cricket in India insisting that the five questions thrown at him be allowed to sail past without the Indian cricket captain putting bat to ball.
