Centre fears more attacks, tells C’garh to beef up leaders’ guard

Fearing that Naxals could follow up the massacre of Congress leaders with more such attacks, the Centre has told Chhattisgarh to provide foolproof security to protected politicians. This came after reports said Mahendra Karma, one of the 27 persons slain in Bastar, was escorted by just six inadequately armed security men though he was entitled to a Z Plus security of 16 guards.
